Introduction to Emotional Awareness

In this first class of the Selfed "Letting Go" Yoga series, we dive into the foundations of emotional wellness by bringing awareness back to ourselves. As men, our awareness often gets scattered across the many demands of life—our careers, relationships, and responsibilities—leading to what I call "awareness fatigue." We're so focused on fixing the external problems around us that we rarely just be. This session is all about identifying where our awareness is directed and recognizing how it affects our behaviors and beliefs. Through this practice, we learn to draw our awareness inward, making space to observe and eventually let go of the inconsistencies between our beliefs and behaviors.
